The Necmi İğe Ethnography Museum project, realized by Emat Engineering, was realized with the aim of restoring an 18th century historical mansion located in the Meydan Neighborhood of Edirne and turning it into a museum.
Within the scope of the project, the façade, interior and technical infrastructure of the mansion were completely renovated. The exterior facade was restored in accordance with the original and the historical texture of the mansion was preserved. In the interior, a museum concept reflecting Rumelia and Balkan culture was created. The 8 rooms, 2 sofas and 2 courtyards in the mansion are dedicated to exhibitions on topics such as wedding traditions, handicrafts, customs and traditions. In addition, local clothes from Rumelia and the Balkans are also exhibited in the mansion.
