In 2017, Emat Engineering undertook the restoration project of a historical building in Beykoz/Kanlıca district of Istanbul. Located on an area of 850 square meters, the building was a mansion built in the 19th century. All elements of the building, including the exterior facade, windows and doors, interiors and roof, were restored.

The restoration work was carried out meticulously to preserve the historical texture and features of the building. The stonework on the exterior, the woodwork on the windows and doors and the decorations in the interior were restored in accordance with their original state. The roof was renewed with wooden cladding and tiles.
With the completion of the project, the building regained its former splendor.Today it is used as a cultural center.

The project once again demonstrated Emat Engineering’s expertise in historical building restoration. With this project, the company demonstrated its sensitivity in protecting historical buildings and transferring them to future generations.
