Elazığ Harput Dungeons Restoration Project is a project realized by Emat Engineering. The project was carried out in order to restore a historical dungeon from the Ottoman period located in Harput Castle and to bring it to tourism.
ㅤ
Within the scope of the project, the exterior, interior and technical infrastructure of the dungeon were completely renovated. The exterior facade was restored in accordance with the original and the historical texture of the dungeon was preserved.
In the interior, a museum concept has been created where visitors can learn about the history and culture of the dungeon. The dungeon displays the legends and stories attributed to the dungeon, as well as personal belongings and photographs of the prisoners who lived there.

The project is an important example of the preservation and revitalization of a historical building. With the completion of the project, Elazığ Harput Dungeons have become an important tourism destination in the city.
