The Historic Atlas Cinema Restoration Project, carried out by Emat Engineering, was carried out in order to bring the historic cinema located in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul back to life.

The project is an important example of the preservation and revitalization of a historic building. With the completion of the project, the Atlas Cinema will make a significant contribution to the cultural life of Istanbul.

Within the scope of the project, the exterior, interior and technical infrastructure of the cinema were completely renovated. The exterior facade of the cinema was restored in accordance with the original and the historical texture of the cinema was preserved. In the interior, a modern movie theater concept was created. The technical infrastructure of the cinema has also been renewed, making the cinema suitable for today’s standards.
